When you are in business for 50+ years, you have a lot of moments of "there has got to be a better way to do this." Well that is exactly what the team at Groover Exterminating experienced that led to their new invention, the Phloa / TuCan Pneumatic Sprayer.
Desi and Kris Groover developed the concept for the Phloa / TuCan Pneumatic Sprayer to meet a serious need in the pest control and extermination marketplace. As owners and operators of Groover Exterminating, Inc., they longed for a sprayer better suited for perimeter pest control around houses and very large buildings. They found that handheld sprayers were not adequate to provide pest control around buildings. Weight limits the amount of solution that can be carried to only a couple of gallons, requiring multiple trips to a vehicle for refills. Backpack sprayers held marginally enough material for smaller houses, but they still require continuous pumping. And, the user must carry pesticide on his/her back, which becomes dangerous when it leaks or eventually blows a hose.

The Groovers also needed to replace their sprayers quite often, which continually put a hit on their overhead and bottom line.
With the new TuCan Sprayer they solved many of those problems:
