Polk County Fire Rescue Invites the Public to the Grand Opening of Moore Road Fire Station

Polk County Fire Rescue extends an invitation to the public for the grand opening of the new Moore Road Fire Station 25 at 8525 Moore Road in Lakeland.

The ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 23 and includes speeches from Polk County leaders, station tours and meeting the new station’s crew.

Station 25 is a new addition for Polk County Fire Rescue — bring the total number of stations to 45. This station will serve the north central area of Lakeland between Polk City Station 7 and Providence Station 6. The Moore Road station will house one Engine company and a 3500-gallon tanker truck.
