Benjamin Freidman, Economic Development Specialist at Duke Energy Corporation, will be giving us a state and local economic forecast. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. Program begins at 8:30 a.m.

Ben Friedman is an economist with Duke Energy. He works on the Florida economic development team where he is in charge of research. This includes demographic, industry, and economic analysis that helps the team win projects and guides their strategy. He sits on the board of the Council for Community and Economic Research and has been awarded the Florida Economic Development Council’s Dan Webster Young Innovator Award. He has worked with organizations across the state including the Tampa Bay Partnership, the Florida Economic Development Council, and the Florida Rural Economic Development Association. Ben has a BA from Emory University and a Master of Public Policy from Georgia State University.
