The Chamber’s Education Committee meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from October to March, usually in the Chamber’s auditorium from October through March.
The group is predominantly made up of education professionals from all grades of the public school system, school district employees, private school representatives and higher education professionals, as well as people from businesses and organizations related to education and to our students and youth in Polk County. Doors open at 8:15am for members to spend some time networking and visiting with their peers. We call the meeting to order at 8:30am and hear from a speaker in a field or organization who have ties to our young people in Polk. The meeting closes at 9:30am.
