It certainly doesn't take a year long federal headcount for us Winter Havenites to come up with the results – we're growing. What is astonishing is by how much. If you compare the census population count from April 1, 2010 to the count on April 1, 2020, Winter Haven (proper within the City limits) has grown by 45% (33,874 vs. 49,219). Below you will find a table with much of the relevant data from the Census and you can view and search the data for yourself here.   *The concept of race is separate from the concept of Hispanic origin. Percentages for the various race categories add to 100 percent, and should not be combined with the percent Hispanic. White alone, not Hispanic or Latino are individuals who responded "No, not Spanish/Hispanic/Latino" and who reported "White" as their only entry in the race question.
