The Martin Luther King, Jr Commemorative Parade Committee, cordially invites your organization to participate in the 40th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade; Saturday, January 19, 2019@ 10:00 A.M. SHARP!! The Winter Haven MLK Parade has continued to grow and improve in quality and content since its inception. The 2019 parade will move along a new parade route in Winter Haven, beginning at City Hall, proceed down First Street to Martin Luther King Jr., Boulevard, ending at the Lake Maude Recreational Complex located on 7th Street and Ave O Northeast.
Lineup@ 8:00 AM SHARP! We expect large crowds to line the parade route. Participation in this event is not only educational but, great fun in bringing together all facets of the community and it also provides you with an excellent way to promote your organization at a minimal cost. Please review the application form carefully and complete ALL requested information. Return the completed application with your entry fee and proof of insurance documents to the Neighborhood Service Center, Inc, 608 Ave. S N. E., Winter Haven, Florida 33881 or email required documents to[email protected]; all motorized and/or trailer vehicles must be insured to participate in the parade. All parade applications without entry fee’s & insurance forms will not be processed. A number of events have been planned for the weekend leading up to the January 19th MLK Parade.
