Local: At a Special City Commission Meeting, held on Monday, April 6th, in efforts to take all possible action to suppress the spread of COVID-19, the Commission voted close all city parks, boat ramps and golf course with immediate effect. As a State we are following the CISA Guidance on Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers During COVID-19. one of the most frequently asked questions is "if essential workers need a special permit to travel?" State: On Monday, April 6th, Governor DeSantis issued an Executive Order (20-95) in efforts to encourage business owners to utilize the Paycheck Protection Loans, the order suspends the collection of documentary stamp taxes on loans issued under Title I of the CARES Act.
