The American Pickers are excited to return to Florida! They plan to film episodes of The History Channel hit television series throughout your area in January 2024. AMERICAN PICKERS is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique “picking” on The History Channel. The hit show follows skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques. They are always excited to find historically significant or rare items, in addition to unforgettable Characters and their collections. As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, the Pickers are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, they want to meet characters with amazing stories and fun items. They hope to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way. The Pickers have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before. They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them.
We at American Pickers continue to take the pandemic very seriously and will be following all guidelines and protocols for safe filming outlined by the state and CDC. Nevertheless, we are excited to continue reaching the many collectors in the area to discuss their years of picking and are eager to hear their memorable stories! The American Pickers TV Show is looking for leads and would love to explore your hidden treasure. If you or someone you know has a unique item, story to tell, and is ready to sell...we would love to hear from you! Please note, the Pickers DO NOT pick stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums, or anything open to the public. If interested, please send us your name, phone number, location, and description of the collection with photos to: [email protected] or call (646) 493-2184 facebook: @GotAPick

My best friend that was like my uncle passed away July 4. He collected everything you could imagine for 50 years I promised to help his clean up the place and we have selling off items as I pull them out.but there is so much.we have people that respond to Facebook marketplace ads I place come all the time and buy things.my friend was a man from humble beginnings.gis grandfather own a meat market in auburndale Florida and a lot of property between auburndale and lakeland.my best friend ever couldn't read or write, but was a forklift mechanic for coca cola company for 35 years.he spent his retirement years taking care of everyone else by fixing their vehicles and never was able to get to all the potential projects he collected.i don't know what we will have left by January but it would be a great tribute to his life for you to have him on your show.his name is Jane's "Buddy" Dyal and he was the greatest man I have ever known! We still have several semi trailers that we haven't opened.i would appear your consideration in considering him for a spot on your show while in florida.auburndale is in Polk county and we have one of the greatest sheriff's in the country,Grady Judd. His property has been owneyby his family for generations and has been many things including a worm farm and bait in the 70s.everyday we work on cleanup there is exactly like a episode of pickers.

I grew up watching American Pickers because my father was very big into keeping things that I thought were not worth anything however now that I am an adult I also contracted his love of vintage things. After researching numerous items I have learned that he actually had a very genius and good eye!
