The American Red Cross of Central Florida has partnered with LEGOLAND® Florida Resort to help neighbors rebuilding their lives after disasters. From August 5-September 5, 2021, one-day tickets to LEGOLAND® Florida Theme Park can be purchased for $47 through an exclusive online offer -- a savings of 50 percent off the gate price -- and $10 from every ticket will be donated to Red Cross disaster relief. For more than 100 years, the Red Cross has been serving its neighbors after disasters strike. Across the country each year, the Red Cross responds to more than 60,000 disasters -- the majority of which are home fires. Large disasters like hurricanes, floods and wildfires are also increasing in frequency and intensity. “We are honored to partner with the Red Cross again to help support their disaster relief as the peak of hurricane season starts. This August, you and your family can help our local community while also celebrating our park’s 10th birthday,” said Rex Jackson, LEGOLAND Florida Resort President.
“Our Central Florida neighbors count on the Red Cross to be there to provide comfort, relief and hope after disasters big and small. The generous support of partners like LEGOLAND Florida enables the Red Cross to respond immediately, helping survivors rebuild their lives,” said Tina Sweeten, Executive Director of the Mid-Florida Chapter in Winter Haven. Tickets must be purchased online August 5-September 5, 2021 at redcross.org/Legoland and are valid for park admission August 5-September 15, 2021. Ten dollars per ticket will be donated to the Red Cross, up to $120,000. For LEGOLAND general information, park hours and COVID safety guidelines, click here. This special ticket offer marks the second time in two years the organizations have worked together to benefit victims of disasters. In 2019, LEGOLAND held a similar fundraiser to benefit Hurricane Dorian relief in the Bahamas which raised more than $127,000. The American Red Cross of Central Florida and the U.S. Virgin Islands serves 19 Florida counties through five chapters: Florida’s Space Coast (Daytona Beach), Greater Orlando, Mid-Florida (Winter Haven), Southwest Florida (Sarasota) and Tampa Bay; and the Virgin Islands territories of St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John and Water Island.
