Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing (PCTSM) has announced that sponsorship applications for fiscal year 2022-2023 arts, cultural and heritage event sponsorship (covering events taking place October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023) are now being accepted online and the final submission deadline is noon on Friday, April 15, 2022. PCTSM and the Polk Arts Alliance will once again partner to host two workshops to assist organizations that wish to apply for sponsorship funding from the Tourist Development Council (TDC) Arts, Culture and Heritage Committee. It is mandatory for organizations to attend one of the two workshops and the attendee must be the person filling out the application and/or the person signing the application for the organization. The workshops will be held on the following dates and times:
· Monday, February 21 at 9:00 a.m. · Tuesday, March 1 at 4:00 p.m. Each workshop will cover the guidelines and process for completing a sponsorship application packet, as well as the timeline for the fiscal year 2022-2023 application process. Both workshops will be held in the PCTSM office conference room located at Lake Myrtle Sports Park, 2701 Lake Myrtle Park Road, Auburndale.
