Bank of Central Florida welcomes Nicole Irby as Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer9/16/2019  Bank of Central Florida, headquartered in Lakeland, Florida, announced today that Nicole Irby has been hired as Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer starting August 23, 2019. With over twenty years of banking experience in the state of Florida, Nicole Irby has spent the last eight years serving Polk County working at BB&T. She joins Bank of Central Florida with a specialty in assisting with solutions for commercial lending and deposit services. “We are pleased to have Nicole join our team,” says Scott Folsom, Executive Vice President and Commercial Banking Executive. “Her experience and knowledge will be an asset to Bank of Central Florida in our pursuit of seeking financial solutions for our clients.” As the newest addition to the commercial team, Irby will be responsible for helping commercial clients throughout Polk County.
Irby is a Florida native and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in marketing and public relations. She began her career in Orlando at Bank of America and transferred several years later to SunTrust Bank. In 2009, she moved to Polk County. Currently, Irby functions as the secretary in the Winter Haven Economic Development Council, serves as a board member for the Humane Society of Polk County and is a member of the Polk State Corporate College Advisory Board and is a graduate of Leadership Winter Haven, Class XXXIII and Leadership Polk, Class VII. She presently resides in Winter Haven with her husband and two sons.
