Friday, May 12, 2017 Held in conjunction with the American Public Gardens Association, National Public Gardens Day promotes awareness of botanic gardens, arboreta, zoos, historic gardens, or any of North America’s Public Gardens. To receive complimentary admission, download the official voucher from our website. Each member of the party requires a coupon for entry. Mother’s Day Sunday May 14, 2017 Free admission will be offered to all mothers in celebration of Mother’s Day. Families are encouraged to give the living bouquet of landscaped gardens created by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. to the special mothers in their lives. The Blue Palmetto Café will be open and the Tower & Garden Gift Shop will offer a special gift with purchase for all moms. Armed Forces Day Saturday May 20, 2017 Bok Tower Gardens honors the brave men and women who are currently serving in our nation’s military services on Armed Forces Day. Free admission is offered to all active duty service professionals and veterans of all military branches with valid ID. Special carillon concerts feature patriotic musical selections at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Memorial Day Monday May 29, 2017 The patriotic celebration continues with a special musical salute of gratitude to our nation's veterans and current members of America's armed forces on Memorial Day. Free admission is offered active duty service professionals and veterans of all military branches with valid ID. Special patriotic carillon concerts take place at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Complimentary admission offers do not include tours of Pinewood Estate. Now through May 14, 2017, the estate is open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Beginning May 15 through October 28, the estate is open from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tickets to tour Pinewood Estate are $6 per adult and $5 per child (ages 5-12) and can be purchased at the Bok Tower Garden Entry Gate or Visitor Center.
