 Governor DeSantis just announced that he is rolling out a “Full Phase 1” of the “Safe, Smart, Step-by-Step” plan for Florida’s Recovery, which will come into effect from Monday, May 18th.
While we were all hoping that Phase 2 would be announced today, he did not give a date as to when this will happen, but as always, we will keep you informed as the news breaks. Here are the main changes to what was already in place:
Governor DeSantis explained that he is working daily with specific industries to address their needs to open safely, and we saw this in action this past week with our Cosmetology/Beauty industries opening, the Tattoo industry being given soft-opening guidelines from the Department of Health, and just yesterday a briefing to the long-term senior care facilities.
