On Wednesday, June 15 at a specially called workshop, the City of Winter Haven Commission came to a consensus that the staff should come with a resolution for a vote at their next commission meeting to move forward with the following shovel ready (or almost) projects:
They have previously voted to approve the the Sertoma Park parking lot improvements and the splashpad. The splashpad will begin construction in the next few days. The other capital projects are important and will move forward but were not as shovel ready as these other projects to be put in FY 16-17.
