 This morning, CareerSource Polk celebrated the Best Places to Work Awards with over 500 people from all over Polk County. This ceremony awarded CareerSource Polk MVP's, Employers of Distinction and Best Places to Work for the small, medium and large business categories. They also opened the event with a "signing day" ceremony for scholarship recipients with President of Polk State College, Dr. Angela Falconetti and Superintendent of Polk County Public School's, Jacqueline Byrd.
The Employers of Distinction for 2017 - 2019 were ACT Environmental & Infrastructure, Allen & Company of Florida and others. These employers were Best Places to Work winners for 3 consecutive years. Chamber members MidFlorida Credit Union and Polk County Clerk of Courts were awarded Best Places to Work for the Large Business category. We are proud of all of the businesses who were honored at this ceremony. Polk County is full of amazing places to work! Congratulations to all of the recipients.
