WEAR YOUR WINTER HAVEN PRIDE!
Adding an artistic twist to this year's celebrations, the Creative Threads T-Shirt Contest saw immense talent with over 60 design submissions. Five exceptional designs from artists spanning various age categories emerged victorious. Residents and visitors can proudly wear a piece of Winter Haven, as these winning designs will be up for sale at $15 each during the Hands on Haven event.

JOB FAIR: COME GROW WITH US!
Amidst the plethora of activities, the City has also organized a job fair at the Winter Haven Library during the Hands on Haven event. Whether you're exploring new career avenues or seeking opportunities within the city, this is the perfect platform to connect, discover, and embark on a fulfilling professional journey.

INTERACTIVE EVENT INCLUDING TOUCH-A-TRUCK
Concluding the week with a bang on Saturday, October 21, we will host the "Hands on Haven: Trucks, Tech, and Tails" event. A day promising fun and learning, attendees can explore the latest in city tech, get up close with city vehicles, and enjoy a plethora of interactive activities.

Trucks: Get ready to be amazed by an impressive lineup of vehicles at our Touch-a-Truck event. We've got something for everyone as we showcase an array of vehicles, from majestic fire trucks and hardworking garbage trucks to sleek police vehicles and cutting-edge equipment. Kids and adults alike can indulge their curiosity and get up close with these fascinating machines.
Tech: Step into the world of technology at our Technology Petting Zoo, conveniently located across the street from the park in the library. This hands-on experience will immerse you in the wonders of emerging and interactive technology. Try out the latest gadgets, experiment with augmented reality applications, and even get a chance to operate drones! This is the perfect opportunity to engage with technology and learn about its impact on our lives.
Tails: Calling all nature enthusiasts! Experience the wild side of Winter Haven with our Ambassador Animals and engaging games suitable for all ages. Our knowledgeable staff will be on-site to introduce you to native species, providing valuable insights into their habitats and behaviors. You can also participate in entertaining games and activities with our Parks staff set amidst the scenic beauty of Central Park and Virginia Miller Park.
