Job title: Member & Sponsorship Sales Manager
Full-Time Position
Job Location: Chamber 3rd Floor Administrative Offices, 401 Ave B NW, Winter Haven

Job Objective: Help to advance commerce & community in Winter Haven. Continually develop and grow the Chamber membership investment and sponsorship revenue while supporting existing member investors to achieve their business goals.

Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities:

Recruit businesses as member investors of the Chamber to meet and/or exceed annual revenue goals
Develop and implement member retention strategies. Maintain member retention of 85% or greater
Sales and coordination of event sponsorships, member advertising opportunities and membership benefits packages
Provides feedback from members to the Chamber team to ensure the Chamber’s programming is responsive to the members evolving needs
Participate in the design of events from the perspective of revenue generation
Schedule and coordinate logistics for all networking showcases and member networking events
Books and coordinates logistics for members ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings ceremonies
Coordinates monthly and annual Business Awards nominations & presentations
Monthly invoicing members for annual and quarterly renewals of membership investments. Proactive management of delinquent payments. Monthly collation and distribution of renewing members materials
Managing all membership & retention statistics in line with Chambers strategic plan for monthly reporting
Manages the Ambassador volunteer committee including monthly meetings, recruitment and training of new Ambassadors, attendance and assignment of roles at events
Management of the Chambers membership database, including verifying & updating members data, input of new members. Production of weekly membership reports for marketing & promotions.Uploading relevant reports, directories and member information to the Chamber’s website.
Design & updating of all membership materials, including membership tier benefits grids, application forms and sponsorship materials, and uploading these to the Chamber’s website.
Proactively responds to members queries, questions and challenges by either presenting the Chambers product/service to address their need or by finding the relevant resource to assist them.
Represents the Chamber at special events, civic functions, and community functions
Under the direction of the President/CEO, and any other assigned duties or tasks

Skills & Educational Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma. Experience in sales is required. Must be a self-starter, articulate, outgoing and possess an unshakeable positive outlook. Computer skills in Word and Excel and an ability to learn member management software. Experience with virtual meeting management a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary plus commission and benefit package including healthcare and 401(k)
