 Southeastern University announced Dabo Swinney, head coach of Clemson football, as the guest speaker for its fundraising event on Friday, March 15. The SEU Gala will take place on Southeastern University’s campus at 6:30 p.m. As one of the top football coaches in the nation, Swinney led the Clemson Tigers to the College National Championship this January, for the second time in three years. Swinney was recently named the 2018 Paul “Bear” Bryant Coach of the Year for the third time in four years. He is the only coach to have received this award three times. Swinney started coaching for Clemson in 2003 as an assistant for five seasons before being named the interim head coach in 2008, and eventually head coach in December.
