 Tickets are on sale and door prize donations are still being accepted for a charity luncheon/card party being sponsored by the Columbiettes auxiliary of Knights of Columbus Council 7091 of Cypress Gardens on Saturday, February 23 at the Vienna Square retirement community in Winter Haven. The event will be from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Vienna Square clubhouse located at 1387 Vienna Square Drive in Winter Haven. People who enjoy card games can obtain tickets for a suggested donation of $10 which includes lunch. Individuals and businesses can get involved by donating items for a Chinese auction or as door prizes.
The annual event will feature a variety of card games, as well as a Pot of Gold, a Chinese auction and Pokeno for those who do not play cards. Guests also can bring along dominoes and other games and everyone will be eligible for attractive door prizes. Local charities helped by this event include Meals on Wheels, the Polk Training Center, LifeChoice Pregnancy Center, The Mission, St. Vincent dePaul Society, Catholic Charities Polk County Ministries, Angel Care and Anchor House Ministries.
