Join a worldwide network of churches, businesses, and organizations addressing the devastating impact of joblessness and poverty through the dignity of work. Jobs for Life offers a discipleship platform enabling cures and organizations to develop gospel centered relationships and teach people God’s design for work, provide a supportive community, and help men and women find and maintain meaningful employment.
The result is employed citizens capable of providing for their families, businesses having access to a well trained workforce and churches creating stainable change in their communities through work and the Gospel.
Jobs for Life works with the premise that it takes: Faith, Community, Truth and Hope to pull out of the sinking sand of chronic joblessness. We deliver the skills, attitudes, knowledge and connections to put willing participants in career employable opportunities: but every individual myst earn their job. Each student will be paired with real Champions that will walk with and advise them, develop real skills like interviewing, marketing and developing career marketable character and meet real employers who are seeking good employees. Dinner provided and childcare available.
At Jobs for Life, we believe the Local Church can break the cycle of joblessness and poverty. Where families are restored and children grow up with hope and a future. Where communities and entire cities are renewed because purpose and dignity have ben restored.
But real transformation through JfL cannot be done without a group of people – a community – joining together to help men and women experience dignity of work.
