 Congratulations to Longhorn Steakhouse for being awarded Small Business of the Month! For many years, LongHorn has been an advocate for community involvement. They pride themselves on their ability to partner with the community to continue forward motion, while also creating an incredible dining experience for the community to enjoy every day of the week. After being at Long Horn for the past 16 years John Huber, Managing Partner, has learned the importance of giving back to the community. For the last 11 years, they have been a sponsor for the Relay for Life and the Meals on Wheels Fundraising event in September. Events like these are now part of their community service culture. The employees look forward to participating each year!
They are also on their fourth year of sponsoring the State Special Olympics Bowling event. Seeing the kids have a great time at this event brings the team at LongHorn great joy to see the benefits of their community service coming to life. Their team has also participated in various events over the holidays, including the Salvation Army Angel Tree program (over 100 toys donated by the staff), Toys for Tots, Adopt a Family, and so on. “We are so grateful to live and work in a community that supports their businesses the way Winter Haven supports us.
