Main Street Winter Haven is PAWsitively thrilled to announce the 17th Annual Bark in the Park event celebrating our furry companions on May 19th from 5:30 - 8:30PM. For over 15 years, pet-friendly vendors, owners, and dog enthusiasts alike have gathered in Downtown Winter Haven's Central Park. This FREE event has become a fan favorite with dog activities, vendors and treats that can be enjoyed by both owner and four-legged friends. Bark in the Park attendees can enjoy an evening stroll to shop for pet items such as collars, leashes, organic dog treats, and more! If you are considering adding a four-legged friend to the family, make sure to stop by one of the many dog adoption organizations set up in the park! Don't forget - each year Bark in the Park hosts the Annual Wiener Dog Race, beginning at 7PM in South Central Park. Dachshunds will race for the coveted title of "Fastest Wiener in Town"! Contestants are welcome to register online or at the Main Street Winter Haven tent at the beginning of the event.
