The 10th Annual Polk Vision Mayors Roundtable is being hosted by the City of Winter Haven, at the Florida Citrus Building/Nora Mayo Hall on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 9 – 11:30 a.m. Mayors from across the 17 cities in Polk County along with the Chair of the Polk County Board of Commissioners, will sit down together to discuss top issues and important topics affecting communities in Polk County. Produced by Polk Vision, this annual event provides an opportunity for elected leaders from every municipality in Polk County to have a public conversation about successes, challenges and collaboration opportunities to create more awareness, cooperation and support of the shared long term Vision for Polk County. Recognizing that strong countywide communication and collaboration is needed now more than ever, Polk Vision is inviting community participation in the 10th Annual Mayors Roundtable. This traditional gathering is part of a series of events designed to strengthen communication and cooperation among governmental entities in Polk County.
Of primary importance is the health and safety of all concerned. Therefore, in compliance with CDC recommendations and local and state guidelines, the Mayors will convene in-person at a "social distance" but without a live audience. However, PGTV will be filming the event and this year will be live streaming for remote viewing. During the event, there will be live opportunity for questions, with specific submittal information provided during the meeting. A video record of this meeting will be made available upon conclusion on the above listed platforms and at www.polkvision.com. The 10th Annual Mayors Roundtable will be moderated by Matt Mucci, Regional Director of External & Legislative Affairs for AT&T Florida and is sponsored by Citizens Bank & Trust.
