I've been diving into the new Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) that was passed through the American Rescue Plan. This is a GRANT program that can be done in addition to the paycheck protection program. This program will be administered directly through the Small Business Administration, not through your local bank like the PPP program is. The RRF application is not yet available on the SBA website and according to the national restaurant association may be a few weeks before it is available, but I wanted to make you aware of this program if you are not already so that you can be ready. The National Restaurant Association put together this very helpful two-pager on the program and the US Chamber did a video where they discussed the program here. Eligible entities include a restaurant, food stand, food truck, food cart, caterer, saloon, inn, tavern, bar, lounge, brewpub, tasting room, taproom, licensed facility or premise of a beverage alcohol producer where the public may taste, sample, or purchase products, or other similar place of business in which the public or patrons assemble for the primary purpose of being served food or drink.
