SPCA Florida’s Annual Critter Camp will be held this summer with camps in June and July. Critter Camp is open to children from grades 4 to 9 and is offered at the SPCA Florida Campus located at 5850 Brannen Road South. This year, we have added a week for rising 8th and 9th graders who will also learn about animal welfare careers, volunteering and being an animal advocate in our community.
Camp weeks will be filled with crafts, games and service projects that are designed to educate and inspire our youth to practice a lifestyle of compassion, respect and responsibility through the humane treatment of animals. June 14th -18th and July 12th – 16th
Available to rising 4th and 5th grade campers.
June 21st – 25th and July 19th – 23rd
Available to rising 6th and 7th grade campers.
June 28th – July 2nd
Available to rising 8th and 9th grade campers.
For best practices during COVID-19, we are limiting sessions to 15 kids campers week, and performing temperature checks every morning. Children must bring a mask and hand sanitizer and hand washing will take place throughout the day. Teachers will also wear masks.
