SPCA Florida recently received a $12,500 grant for the Guardian Angel fund from the George W. Jenkins Fund within the GiveWell Community Foundation. The Guardian Angel Fund provides lifesaving treatment to animals in need. Every month SPCA Florida provides between $10,000 and $15,000 in free care to treat diseases and injured animals. SPCA Florida Director of Marketing & Development Paula Creamer said, “This much needed funding is an instrumental component so that we can continue to provide the very best quality in animal care for those in need. The Guardian Angel Fund provides both owned and homeless pets a second chance at health and happiness. The George W. Jenkins Fund within the GiveWell Community Foundation is a generous supporter and we are so thankful to receive this grant for the SPCA Florida homeless animals.”
