 Straughn Trout Architects has released new renderings for the Chain of Lakes Fieldhouse. This project, expected to open in November of 2019, will include 6 basketball courts, meeting rooms, offices, a fitness room and upgrades to the existing Theatre Winter Haven. A portion of the new facility with be utilized by the Lakeland Magic for their practices and office space. This facility opens our community to opportunities for numerous sports tournaments, convention-type gatherings and banquets.  This project will cost $22,500,000 and will be completed in three separate phases. The contractor for the field house will be Rodda Construction and Everett Whitehead & Son. Straughn Trout also uses virtual reality to give their clients, contractors and stakeholders an incredibly realistic preview of their project. Chamber President Katie Worthington was able to experience the virtual reality first hand for the Field House and was amazed at what she saw. "You can climb the stairs, open doors and run the halls of a building that hasn't even been built yet!" Below are the most up to date renderings of the Field House project.
