There is a bigger need than ever right now to help people in our community. State Farm’s WHOC Lead Where You Live (LWYL) Committee is organizing a fundraiser to provide home-cooked meals at The Mission of Winter Haven on Tuesday, May 19. Since 1977, The Mission has served families and individuals in need in our community through its soup kitchen and food pantry. We are raising money from State Farm Winter Haven employees to provide a Beef Stroganoff meal which will be prepared by The Catering Company. Our goal is to raise $1,500 to be able to serve approximately 200 people in need! Please consider making a monetary donation to help us provide this meal. Your contributions would be appreciated by Monday, May 18th. To donate, 1) please visit The Mission of Winter Haven, 2) click “Donate”, 3) select an amount to donate (or enter other amount) and 4) enter your personal information including State Farm as your employer and your State Farm email address.
